The Script are a pop-rock band from Dublin, Ireland. The band currently operates as a duo consisting of Danny O'Donoghue and Glen Power, following the passing of guitarist Mark Sheehan in April 2023.
Formed in 2001, they released their self-titled debut album in 2008, firmly securing their place as an internationally acclaimed act. A musical blend of indie-rock, pop and soul, the band have earned several top 10 slots on the UK's Official Singles Chart, including The Man Who Can't Be Moved, For The First Time, Superheroes and Hall Of Fame, which reached #1. The band have since expanded their discography to six studio albums and a Greatest Hits LP, with the latest being 2024's 'Satellites'. The Script will support their new record with the Satellites World Tour, which will travel to arenas across the UK, Ireland and Europe in November and December 2024, wrapping up with a string of album release shows in Bristol, Kingston and Sheffield. They also have UK and Ireland shows planned for summer 2025, including dates as part of a number of outdoor concert series and festivals, which follows a tour of Australia and New Zealand in January/February of that year. I was one of those lucky girls who got to stand front row after waiting 10 hours in line. It was worth the wait. They played all their hits and I got to touch Danny multiple times. Too bad the girl next to me catched Glen's drum stick. It was my bday back then so I thought I deserved it haha. 2 months later they came back for Pinkpop in Holland and I met them. Got a chance to have pictures and autographs with them. They are seriously the most down to earth guys I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Whenever they come. I buy tickets. No doubt in my mind. Best band ever.

Outstanding by far the best band and live gig I have ever been to, my husband's now been converted. Back looking to book more tickets so we can see them again, the Script are a must see if you love live music and so reasonably priced when you see how much others charge for tickets and their merchandise.

The script were amazing, and I really enjoyed hearing the lads play and Danny's amazing voice. they were brilliant live!! Danny's voice is just incredible and I would strongly recommend that you go and see them live because I think that you would absolutely love it, especially if you are a fan of them!
