Nine Inch Nails are an industrial metal band from Cleveland, Ohio fronted by Trent Reznor, who is the only constant member and is the main producer and songwriter for the band. Since 2016, the band has also featured Reznor's longtime collaborator Atticus Ross.

Formed in 1988, the band released their debut record, 'Pretty Hate Machine', the following year. They've since gone on to release 10 more studio albums, hitting #1 in the US twice and becoming one of the most influential acts in modern alternative music. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2020.
