James Bay is an alternative folk-pop singer-songwriter from Hitchin, Hertfordshire.

Starting his musical career in 2013, he gained attention thanks to many a show at Communion's monthly night at Notting Hill Arts Club in London, leading him to release his debut EP, ‘The Dark Of The Morning’, later that year. He's released a number of EPs and four studio albums to date, the most recent being 2024's 'Changes All The Time'.

Bay has been awarded some of the highest honours in music, including the coveted Critics' Choice Award at the BRITs (also bagging the gong for British Male Solo Artist in 2016) and an Ivor Novello Award, as well as three Grammy nominations.
