Georgia Ruth, real name Georgia Williams, is a Welsh singer-songwriter from Llantwit Major.
Starting her music career in 2008, she released her debut EP ‘In Luna’ in 2011, followed by her debut album ‘Week of Pines’ in 2013, which won the Welsh Music Prize. She released her second album ‘Fossil Scale’ in October 2016. She has headlined her own shows and tours across the UK and has performed at festivals such as Glastonbury, Festival N°6, Latitude, WOMEX and Green Man. Georgia Ruth has postponed her spring 2020 UK tour due to the coronavirus pandemic, with new dates yet to be announced.
