Puscifer Announce Fifth Studio Album 'Normal Isn't' And Accompanying North American Tour

Puscifer, the project of Maynard James Keenan of Tool, Mat Michell, and Carina Round, have announced their first new studio album in over five years.
'Normal Isn't' will arrive through Puscifer Entertainment/Alchemy Recordings/BMG on February 6, marking their first proper full-length release since 2020's 'Existential Reckoning' and its subsequent 2023 remix record 'Existential Reckoning: Rewired'.
Featuring 11 tracks, it's led by the newly shared single Self Evident, which leans into a darker, more guitar‑driven sound than some of the band's previous work. Singer Keenan said: "We're definitely leaning into our early influences. It’s the place where goth meets punk. It’s where I came from."
Mitchell, who co-produced the album, explained: "From the beginning, we talked about bringing in a raw, edgy feel that only guitars could deliver. We removed the guardrails and pushed the music in a more aggressive direction."
Puscifer will support the LP with The Normal Isn't Tour next spring, featuring special guest Dave Hill. It kicks off in Las Vegas on March 20 and concludes in Los Angeles on May 14. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (October 24).
Since their last studio album, Puscifer have released 'Global Probing', a 2023 live album capturing the band's international Existential Reckoning Tour, and 'In Case You Were Napping', a 2025 compilation of tracks pulled from their albums and EPs.
