Sŵn Festival has unveiled the final names for its 2025 line-up.
New additions to the bill include AKA, Benefits (pictured), Blood, Picture Challenge, Kicker, My First Time, Olive Grinter and Joe Shrimpling, Sarah Meth, Shell, Shah, Silverwingkiller and Wolfschmidt.
The join the previously confirmed Squid, TTSSFU, Babymorocco, Gruff Rhys, Naima Bock, Sage Todz, Lord Apex, Ugly, Mykki Blanco, Moonchild Sanelly, Man/Woman/Chainsaw, Jessica Winter, Getdown Services, Gurriers, Adult DVD, Dog Race, Deadletter and many more.
Taking place in just over two weeks, the Cardiff festival will return for three days across multiple city centre venues, including Tramshed, Clwb Ifor Bach, St John’s Church, Jacobs Basement, Fuel, The Canopi, Tiny Rebel, Boho Club, and Porters. See below for the day and venue splits.
After a successful expanded edition last year, the Sŵn Connect industry conference returns for 2025. Taking place on October 16 and 17 at Cornerstone and Porters, it'll focus on supporting artists and industry folks who want to push their careers forward, with panels, talks, workshops and breakout sessions with industry partners planned.
The Sŵn Mentor program will also be back, giving attendees a chance to discuss their challenges with experienced industry professionals. Plus, industry mixers will be accessible to those with delegate or Connect tickets, featuring the Sŵn Spotlight series, which highlights emerging Welsh artists expected to make an impact in the coming year.
As with last year’s festival, this year's edition sees Sŵn collaborating with Cardiff Music City Festival, a two-week celebration of gigs, immersive aspects, residencies, installations and pop-ups set to take over the city.
