Thomas Truax is an American singer-songwriter and musician hailing from New York. One of the most unique artists in music today, Truax is known for his ability to both invent and then use a variety of strange and wonderful instruments - such as his 'hornicator', 'stringaling', and 'sister spinster'!
Recognised as part of the 'steam punk' movement due to his gothic style and use of primitive instrument/materials, Truax would initially become help push the anti-folk movement in his earlier years, before going it alone as a solo musician. He's since put out seven full LPs of material, including his latest, 'Trolls, Girls & Lullabie' - catch him live in the UK from March to May 2015!
