The Slow Readers Club Share New Single You Opened Up My Heart

Jon Stickler 12 March 2018

The Slow Readers Club have released a new single.

You Opened Up My Heart is the latest track to be shared from the Manchester indie-electro quartet's upcoming fourth studio album, 'Build A Tower', following Lunatic and Through The Shadows. Speaking about the new song, vocalist Aaron Starkie said:

"You Opened Up My Heart is a hopeful song for uncertain times. A lot of our songs are existential and angst ridden but in an age where we're faced with stuff like Trump and Brexit, and people are becoming more polarised, it felt right to offer something with a more positive message. It's about a basic belief that humanity and compassion will win the day, wrapped in an indie-pop love song."

With the follow up to 2015's 'Cavalcade' out on May 4 via Modern Sky, the band will accompany the release with a UK tour.
