Bicep Share New Single CHROMA 003 Bi83 Under DOVE Alias

Bicep have shared a new song under their DOVE alias.

Titled CHROMA 003 Bi83, the dance track marks the latest release from Belfast electronic duo Andy Ferguson and Matt McBriar's ongoing CHROMA project, DOVE, which the duo describe as, "an extreme version of the Bicep sound. Heavier but also calmer."

"DOVE will hopefully be a place where we can put more singular ideas down, less focused on complete songs and more on experimental concepts we work on in the studio," Bicep said. "For example, this first release was about restricting ourselves to human voices and acid to make the majority of sounds. Long-term we would like DOVE to lean into the sounds we grew up with, with a rave leaning aesthetic, but at this stage we’re just excited to start growing it and see where it goes."

It follows their debut CHROMA A/V DJ show at last month's Coachella festival, and their Benjamin Damage collaboration L.A.V.A., released under their alias B.D.B.

DOVE will play this year's Glastonbury Festival in June, alongside Bicep Present CHROMA takeovers at Brighton Beach and London's Finsbury Park in July and August, respectively. They'll also top the bill at Wilderness festival and Creamfields' Runaway Stage.
