Open Mike Eagle's new group Previous Industries have announced their debut album.

The underground hip hop veteran is joined by long-time collaborators Still Rift and Video Dave in the new group, who will release their eponymous LP on June 28.

It'll feature the trio's previously released tracks Showbiz and Braids, as well as the newly shared single Pliers, which finds all three rappers trading verses over a steady beat produced by Child Actor.

Head below to view the accompanying video, a partially animated shot for shot remake of the 'Show Me the Way to Go Home' scene from the classic film Jaws. Commenting on Pliers, Open Mike Eagle said:

"This is a song about tension, pressure and using our tools. It's about the pressure of being middle-aged in rap, the pressure of sharing oneself in relationships and a high stack of yesterdays about to topple into tomorrow. It’s the sound of the fight to take a deep breath."

A month after their record comes out, Previous Industries will tour the US beginning in July, with dates lined up until October 5. Head here for details.

Open Mike Eagle, meanwhile, released his latest solo album, 'Another Triumph Of Ghetto Engineering', in 2023.

4. Roebuck
5. Montgomery Ward
