Will Young Announces Autumn UK Tour In Support Of New Album 'Light It Up'

Will Young has announced the Light It Up Tour.
The British vocalist has lined up 49 dates for the intimate run, which spans September, October and November. Each show will take the form of an up close and personal evening of acoustic performances, stories and conversation.
Tickets go on general sale at 10am on April 26. Confirming the dates, he said:
"I’m very excited to be going to a lot of places I haven’t been. I wanted to go to smaller venues so I could properly get around the country rather than just playing the big cities."
The tour takes its name from Young's upcoming ninth studio album, and his first since the 2021 covers LP 'Crying On The Bathroom Floor', which is due out on August 9.
The singer has also shared a new single, Falling Deep, which finds him returning to his soulful, pop roots. He said: "I’m remembering my roots of pop and completely welcoming it. The song immediately made my mind go to the late 70s and early 80s. I wanted the fun and nostalgia of that time but to modernise it, and I’m so proud of the result."
