Cypress Hill Confirm Summer Royal Albert Hall Show With London Symphony Orchestra

Cypress Hill have announced a special show in London.
The rap legends will perform with the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Troy Miller at the Royal Albert Hall on July 10. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on Wednesday (March 27).
The concert will feature a reimagined orchestral version of their 1993 seminal album 'Black Sunday', as well as a selection of the group's hits and fan favourites, including Insane In The Brain and I Wanna Get High. Cypress Hill said:
"We are thrilled to be performing with the London Symphony Orchestra in such a prestigious venue as the Royal Albert Hall. It’s a dream come true, a collaboration only The Simpsons could have predicted."
The Simpsons joked in the 1996 "Homerpalooza" episode that Cypress Hill had booked a gig with the London Symphony Orchestra while under the influence. Kathryn McDowell, the London Symphony Orchestra's Managing Director commented:
"After years of social media teasing it, many fans may have started to believe it would only be a pipedream – but the LSO is delighted to finally be joining Cypress Hill on stage and in person, and look forward to creating an unforgettable musical moment! Many thanks to the creators of The Simpsons for the idea and to AEG Artisitc and PolyArts for making it all happen."
Cypress Hill will also tour the US this spring. Tickets for those dates are already on sale.
