BMX Bandits Tickets, Tour Dates & Concerts 2024/2025 ♫

BMX Bandits are a Scottish indie pop band, formed in 1985, and originally consisting of Duglas T Stewart, from The Pretty Flowers, Frances McKee from The Vaselines, Sean Dickson from The Soup Dragons and Norman Blake from Teenage Fanclub. The band’s line-up have changed much over the years, with Stewart remaining the only consistent member.

Formed in 1985, the band released their debut album, ‘C86’, in 1989, and signed to Creation Records for their third release, ‘Life Goes On’, in 1993, which featured the single, Serious Drugs. 2003’s ‘Down at the Hop’, came out via Shoeshine, while ‘My Chain’ in 2006 and ‘Bee Stings’, in 2007 came out via REVOLA. In 2012 the band released their ninth album, ‘In Space’, via Elephant Records.

The band have headlined their own shows and tours across the UK, and were once supported by Oasis. Kurt Cobain was also a fan, photographed wearing a BMX Bandits t-shirt, and claiming on a radio show that if he could he in any other band it would be BMX Bandits. The band celebrated their 30th anniversary with a show in London’s 100 Club in January 2016.
